All products should be refrigerated upon receipt (yes, before opening) as they are raw and live cultured foods. They are not heat processed, canned, or sealed. Jars that bubble upon opening are safe to eat.
All orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail in medium flat rate boxes on the Monday or Tuesday after they are placed. Shipping is a fee of $14.50 for orders of 1-6 jars. Orders of more than 6 jars will be prepared for multiple shipments.
Each six-pack will contain one jar of each flavor. To order multiple jars of a single flavor, please use the single item listing.
Traditional Kimchi is a spicy, invigorating kimchi made with napa cabbage, carrots, daikon radish, garlic, ginger, hot peppers, gochugaru pepper, apples, Red Boat Fish Sauce. Sweetened with apples rather than sugar, this kimchi has a slight fruity flavor. We eat this kimchi on everything. Really.
Gateway Kimchi is a medium spicy ginger kimchi (made with the same vegetables as our traditional kimchi, but without gochugaru or fish sauce). It has just enough kick to get your day going and pairs perfectly with eggs, pork and salads.
Fiesta Roja is inspired by the flavors Caitlin grew up eating. Our riff on "curtido" from El Salvador, it's made with red cabbage, carrots, onions, garlic, and a blend of spices including cumin. Your taco nights just got even better (believe it, it's possible).
Juniper Kraut is for the kraut purist looking to amp up their game. Made with green cabbage, a smattering of juniper berries and sea salt, this clean, nearly naked classic-style kraut goes with anything and everything.
Curry Kraut features green cabbage, fresh turmeric root, apples, and a blend of flavorful curry spices. It's not spicy at all, and amps up any meal to another level. We recommend it served alongside sausages, lamb, on Reuben sandwiches... you name it!
Atlantic Brine Seaweed Sauerkraut is made with green cabbage and four different kinds of seaweed wild harvested in Maine: kelp, kombu, dulse and wakame. Made for those who love the smell of the ocean, this mineral rich kraut is soft and satisfying. You might end up eating it right out of the jar.
*Note: All products are sugar free, gluten free, and vegan (with the exception of Traditional Kimchi, which is sugar-free and GF but not Vegan. Red Boat Fish Sauce is made solely from anchovies and salt).
